New aniridia scientists invited to present at our international conference. The best will win a cash prize. Researchers from small eastern European countries are especially encouraged to apply.
We will hold a rapid fire session at this summer’s European Aniridia Conference. There will be 5-minute presentations followed by questions and answers and discussions.
The best, judged by a panel of senior researchers will be awarded £100 – very kindly donated by Prof. Veronica van Heyningen.
To take part you must submit an abtrast and be an early career scientist:
- masters students
- PhD students
- early postdocs
- clinical trainees)
We particularly want to get proposals from early career scientists in under-represented countries:

Submit abstracts using our Call for papers form by 15 March 2021. Highlight that you are an early career scientist and want to be considered for the rapid fire session.
If you are not selected for the rapid fire session we may still invite you to display/present poster of your work instead.
