Venue and accommodation
The European Aniridia Conference (EAC) 2024 will be held in the hotel of Blique by Nobis in central Stockholm. In 1930, world-famous architect Sigurd Lewerentz designed a warehouse for Philips, and today in the very same building you can enjoy a contemporary hotel. The property consists of a hotel, two restaurants, several bars, flexible spaces for meeting and events, a courtyard and a rooftop bar with a breath-taking view over Stockholm. Read more at Blique by Nobis.
The accommodation and meals will be at the hotel Blique by Nobis, the same as the conference venue (see above for more information).
The conference organisers have secured a limited number of reduced-rate hotel rooms to make the trip to the EAC 2024 easier. We strongly recommend to book as soon as possible, as Stockholm is busy this time of the year. When you have concluded your registration process you will receive a booking link for the hotel booking with information and the special rates for the EAC 2024. You will be asked to secure your booking with a credit card.

Coming from the airport by train:

From Bromma Airport, it is approximately 15 minutes, depending on the time of day. Credit cards are readily accepted.
Please note: Taxi fares in Sweden are not regulated, which means that prices can vary significantly between companies. With this in mind, we recommend that you use the services of well-known firms like Taxi Stockholm, Taxi 020 and Taxi Kurir and also that you use a fixed price scheme.
It is also possible to reach Stockholm by train. There are direct overnight trains from Berlin and Hamburg and if for instance you have a flight to Copenhagen airport in Denmark, you can get to Stockholm with a direct train from the airport in about five hours.
The European Aniridia Conference will be conducted in English while the parallel Aniridia Nordic Meeting will be in Scandinavian languages.
