What a ticket is and what is included in the conference fee

Purchasing a ticket is the same as paying the conference fee. The following will be included in the conference fee/your ticket, along with the conference programme access connected with your ticket:

– Friday, 31 May: lunch and evening reception (hosted by the City of Stockholm and the Region of Stockholm)

– Saturday, 1 June: lunch and dinner

– Sunday, 2 June: lunch

About the tickets

Please read the information about the different types of tickets carefully before choosing. Unfortunately, we will not be able to reimburse you if you choose a ticket which you are not eligible for. Although it might be tempting to combine several of the exciting meetings, this will not be possible and you cannot combine or change meetings after registration.

If you are a participant belonging to a relevant conference profession, such as researcher, ophthalmologist, geneticist, you should choose the ticket called: EAC2024 Professionals.

If you are a participant from the aniridia community and would like to participate in and listen to the scientific conference held in English (medical terminology), you should choose the ticket called: EAC2024 Non-professionals.

If you are a participant from the Nordic aniridia community and would like to participate in the Nordic aniridia meeting held in Scandinavian languages, you should choose the ticket called: EAC2024 Nordiskt möte participants.

If you are an early career researcher or student within a relevant conference field, you should choose the ticket called: EAC2024 Early career researchers and students.

Please note that the number of participants in the different meetings is limited and that the possibility to purchase tickets can close when a certain meeting has reached the maximum number of participants. So do not wait too long to secure your ticket.

Early booking price

There will be a favourable Early Booking Price (EBP) of only 50 EUR for most tickets, which expires on January 31st, 2024. After that date, prices for tickets could be expected to be significantly higher.

Leadership Academy

Tickets for the European Aniridia Leadership Academy (EALA) are only open for selected candidates who have been pre-approved by Aniridia Europe and the organiser. The call for nominations is open until January 10th, 2024. More information can be found through the link: European Aniridia Leadership Academy

Confirmation e-mail and a link to the hotel booking site

After purchasing your ticket and completing the sign-up you will receive a receipt as well as a confirmation e-mail with your ticket. In this e-mail you will also find information about the conference accommodation and a link to the hotel booking site.
